How you get drawn in
Ok so you are on the look out for the next big thing as far as diets go that’s about a new one every week somewhere in the world. Your looking for something that is going to do the job for you. And this time as any time it has to be the best one it cant be one that promises to much as that just would turn out not to be true or would end up giving you some bad side affects. It also cant be one that takes to long to see results as you fear that you may not be able to wait that long, or that you’re an impatient person that may give it up easily.
You could come across a diet that is just purely information based and basically tells you should from the food you most probably already eat all you’d need to do is cancel out the carbohydrates or cut out the fatty content food and move on to low fat products. In this instance you’d be lucky as you would be doing the same shopping as usual. Buying mainly the same things as usual with the slight minus of certain things that are maybe high in fat or carbs and adding of foods that are low in fat and low in carbs. So the would be a balance as far as the breaking the bank goes.
So is all dieting as cheap
Unfortunately not! There are diets such as the Atkins diet that started off with a few scientific facts and went on to be a large food producer on its own. There were so many people drawn into the diet that it was named the “Atkins Revolution”. It reached here in the UK where I am and a year later there was the food produce as well, believe you me these low carbohydrate pasta sauces and pasta or chocolates and cereals to crisps and milkshakes were at the most extortionate prices I’ve ever seen.
The people at Atkins obviously knew that they had people by the leash and that there was a big demand for low carbohydrate food to be produced simply on a supply and demand basis. Any justified business person would do the same with a following of such vast amounts all that happened was a need was found and then was supplied for. Right? …………
Wrong a need was moulded from a human vulnerability id confidently say that people that weren’t even fat or over weight will have tried the Atkins just to see if it works and to have the back up there that if they did ever get fat they would have something to fall back on. Every one is bothered about their weight and diet companies now this and that is how millions of copies of diet books whether they work or don’t work, are sold to the buying public every year.
Break out of spending you money on diets
The Atkins diet can be followed without breaking the bank by just cutting down the carb intake; it’s just a usual case of human laziness and wanting everything done for us. We want to be guided it makes us feel safer for someone to do the thinking and the work for us rather than us thinking for our selves getting off our back side and making a move.
A simple 15 min exercise a day every morning straight after you wake up would have tremendous effects on your fitness, your weight and how fresh a ready you feel throughout the rest of the day.
Watch out for who’s out to get your bank balance and swap it for your stomach
